The Time Has Come

As day 25 opens we find Rupert and Amanda of the Heroes in their despair and wanting for a change when they discover the tribal tree mail and a large locked chest. It advises, however, that they should not open the chest until they have the key but that they should get ready because the are having company. Meanwhile back at the Villains camp Parvati has their tree mail which contains a key and a map to the Heroes' camp. Russell steps up, as if in control, and says that if it means a merge that that is fine with him. He feels that if will give the Villains a good chance to get of the Heroes one at a time. Russell has already conjured up plans to try to convince J.T. that he tried to get rid of Parvati but that she had an idol which she used and thus Courtney was eliminated. Danielle asks Russell who he plans to vote off when they are together as one tribe. He says that it is in his plan to get rid of J.T. but feels that the one thing that stands in his way is Sandra, the one surviving member of Boston Rob's alliance . We all know that Russell is unaware that indeed Parvati does have an immunity idol and that she is keeping it from him until she wants him to know it. (Now, who is in control?)

Time has come and the Villains pack up their camp and travel to their new home... the camp of the Heroes. Upon arrival they are greeted by Candice, welcoming them to their new camp. Meanwhile, J.T. sees Russell following along behind the three girls from the Villains and takes from that that both he and Parvati had used their immunity idol resulting with none left to save them now. This leads him to figure that it's Parvati who must go. First thing they do is set out to open the chest and discover vegetables, ham and black buffs. This certainly confirms their belief... this is the merge. Now, the new tribe must determine a name.

Parvati senses that she is being shunned but she holds the key to that. Her plan is that the Heroes' will be picked off, one by one. Once settled in the shelter and feeling confident, Russell meets with J.T. and Rupert and give them his fabricated story about how the previous Tribal Council went down. He presents a convincing argument that he is on board with the two of them. As the little meeting breaks up, J.T. reaffirms to Rupert that Russell is an okay guy and that they can trust him. Now things look good except for his concern for Sandra. Indeed he needed to be concerned because she was out to seek sweet revenge and she did by informing Rupert that Russell is in command and Parvati is his right hand man. ( Is she missing something? That's not how I am seeing it.)

Life goes on... different day, different place, different game. Following their first night as one tribe the next morning is met with some contention when Parvati, following their breakfast, set out to eat the plantains for a snack. Rupert took exception to her actions and informed her that they (referring to the Heroes) share everything evenly. This sets Rupert off on his own agenda. He recognizes that they must vote off the Villains and not trust Russell and he goes to other Heroes tribe members to alert them to his findings and devise a plan to test him. The plan: tell Russell that the 5 Heroes members are going to vote for a person but then actually vote for someone else. Remember.... this is a test, just a test.

On day 27 we find Parvati trying to reestablish an alliance with a former tribe member, Amanda. As it turns out, Amanda informs her that the plan is that the Heroes are planning to vote her out, but offers a suggestion that instead perhaps Sandra should be the one voted out. She tells Parvati that she will do everything she can to keep her here. This is Amanda's ploy to gain Parvati's trust. Oh, what a wicked web we weave. Parvati, having gained some trust in Amanda volunteered that she was in possession of an immunity idol. Later in the day, Russell, who was concerned that Parvati was the target gave her the immunity idol that J.T. had given him.
The Immunity Challenge
As the newly formed tribe assemble before Jeff Probst, they inform him that the name chosen is Yin-Yang. (Good and Evil)
Jeff then explains the upcoming challenge and states that the last person remaining on the poles, to which they must cling as long as they can, will be the winner of individual immunity. With Danielle and Parvati being the last two hanging on to the poles, it was decided between then that since Parvati already had an immunity idol that she would drop from the pole and allow Danielle to claim the immunity idol.

Back At Camp
J.T. had figured that it was strange that Parvati would give the win to Danielle when she was the one targeted for the elimination vote, thereby confirming his belief that she had an idol. Suspicion abounds! Who is the target? The test was about to begin. Russell was allowed to believe that Parvati was the target while in reality the vote for the Heroes 5 was to be directed toward Sandra or Jerri; even this is a test of Russell's loyalty to Villain tribe members. Meanwhile, Amanda encourages Parvati to use her immunity idol to force either Sandra or Jerri out, but this only makes Parvati suspicious of her intentions.

Tribal Council
Rupert is first to speak up and brings up the subject again regarding "banana etiquette". He is upset because both Parvati and Danielle were eating the fruit without permission from the Heroes' members. Jerri and Parvati profess to be on the outs with the Heroes but Russell is proud that he has had good relations with the new tribe members. It appears as though there are still two tribes although they are now merged. It seemed perfectly clear to the two members of the jury, Coach and Courtney, that there was some "game playing" going on. Obviously their observations were correct. Game playing puts it mildly...
Prior to the vote, Jeff said that tonight's vote will be the most important night. The vote was taken and prior to the counting of the votes Jeff called for the use of any immunity idols prior to the count. Now! Here comes the zinger. (Here's where I gasped and said "mistake, mistake") Parvati then stands up and gives an idol to Sandra and Jerri. Get the picture now? It looks as though there would be no one from the Villain's going home. Jeff read the votes and Jerri received 5, and J.T. 5
Because of the immunity idol, J.T. was voted off
and becomes the third member of the jury. ( I wonder what he thinks of Russell now?)

Jeff closes the Tribal Council with " Anything can and will happen."
